Supporting Students in Grades 3–12 with Academic Strength, Communication Skills, and Long-Term Direction

YoumaX provides academic enrichment and student support programs for students in grades 3 through 12 across Richmond. Our programs are designed to strengthen academic foundations, build communication skills, and help students develop confidence and direction for long-term success.

We deliver structured, small-group programming that helps students improve performance, increase engagement, and connect their education to real-world opportunities.

Supporting Students Across Richmond Public Schools

Richmond Public Schools serves a diverse student population of over 20,000 students across PreK–12. While the district has made meaningful progress in recent years—including rising graduation rates and improved academic performance—there remain clear opportunities to further strengthen student outcomes.

Many students benefit from additional support in:

  • Reading comprehension and foundational academic skills

  • Communication and language development

  • Confidence and classroom engagement

  • Exposure to future academic and career opportunities

With a high percentage of students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including those receiving free or reduced lunch, targeted academic reinforcement can have a significant impact.

YoumaX is designed to complement existing school and community efforts by providing structured, practical support where additional reinforcement can make a measurable difference.
